From an idea to an international initiative
GTMUN grew from a simple observation: the students who would benefit most from MUN — those curious about the world and eager to speak — were often the ones who felt least welcome in it.
What started as an idea to make MUN more accessible became a structured approach: teach first, then give students a platform to take part. Workshops before committee sessions. Guidance before debate. Community before competition.
Today, GTMUN is a youth-led international initiative — built by students, for students — with programmes that continue to grow alongside the community they serve.
